Ning Shen is a senior partner and the director of the Criminal Case Committee at Watson and Band Law Offices in Shanghai.

In his expansive role, Mr. Shen also contributes as a Master's tutor at the Graduate School of East China University of Political Science and Law, and holds several prestigious positions within the legal community, including:

• Vice director of the Criminal Procedure Law and Criminal Defense Committee of Shanghai Bar Association

• Vice chairman of Southwest University of Political Science and Law Shanghai Alumni Association

• Specially invited lawyer supervisor of the Prison and Detention Center Management Team of Shanghai Public Security Bureau

Mr. Shen's educational background includes a law degree from Southwest University of Political Science (formerly known as Southwest College of Political Science and Law) obtained in 1990. He joined Shanghai No.2 Law Firm. Qualifying as an attorney in 1992, he embarked on a distinguished professional journey. He further enhanced his qualifications with an LLM degree from the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences later before joining Watson & Band in 1999.

With over 30 years of experience in the legal field, Mr. Shen has expertly mananged nearly a thousand civil, commercial, criminal and non-litigation matters. He is specialized in litigation services, particularly in defending clients in commercial and criminal cases, leveraging his deep legal knowledge, extensive litigation skills, and significant courtroom experience. His strategic acumen has led to numerous client victories, achieving favorable outcomes such as acquittal, plea bargain or probation in challenging criminal cases.

Additionally, Mr. Shen serves as the acting legal counsel for various companies, providing comprehensive litigation and non-litigation legal services that enhance their success and legal compliance.

Recognized as a legal expert, Mr. Shen is a frequent special commentator and honored guest on legal media programs hosted by Shanghai Broadcasting and Television Station, Shanghai People's Broadcasting Station, and other outlets. He is also an esteemed speak at legal forums and seminars, and contributes to legal education by lecturing on the course of "Criminal Cases Procedures and Major Tasks of Lawyers in Various Stages" at Shanghai Lawyers College.
